Beautiful park with nice trails and many spots for picnics. Lake for fishing, or kayaking as well
I’ve always loved this park. It is super scenic and you feel like you are ‘up north’ even though it’s on the edge of suburbia and less than an hour from downtown Detroit. Highly recommended for anyone that loves nature or just wants to get outside to ‘decompress’ from it all.
Love the beach here. Lots of room so it's never to crowded. Very clean.
Well maintained park, lots of things for kids to do
Well maintained asphalt trails. Large open areas with shade available. Had company picnic there for 1000 people and it worked great. Parking for large group can be challenging.
